Dare or Stay There | Hotstar

Work for a tech giant. Or dare to build one.
Hotstar was perceived as Star India's fuddy-duddy content portal by the tech community. However, contrary to that belief, the upstart was one of the biggest video streaming platforms that routinely made and broke world records for digital concurrency. To connect with the cream of India's tech minds, Hotstar (now Disney+ Hotstar) challenged them to discard their current roles and build the future of online video streaming for the world. We launched a consumer-facing recruitment campaign, on the back of a brand perception campaign.
As the Creative Lead on this campaign, this was an exercise in writing craft, and deep collaboration to understand the engineering subculture in India.
