Ocean’s 11 meets Banksy’s stunts and Vice’s journalistic rigour
The Unfiltered History Tour is a guerrilla tour of the British Museum's stolen artefacts. Using Instagram Augmented Reality filters, visitors can scan the museum's disputed artefacts and see them being teleported back in time to their countries of origin; as experts from their home countries narrate their stories.
It was an honour to lead this project as the Creative Director, across 10 timezones, over the pandemic, and collaborate with over 100 geniuses to make this come alive. Crafting this campaign’s editorial vision and tone of voice has been an exercise in reconciling with my own intergenerational trauma.
The Unfiltered History Tour made Cannes Lions history, winning the prestigious Titanium Lion, and three Grand Prix’, along with 11 more Lions.
